Awards and Honors Adler | Nancy Adler, PhD was one of seven Institute of Medicine members elected by their peers to serve on the IOM's governing Council effective January 1, 2011. The Council is the governing body of the IOM, and is responsible for approving studies undertaken by the IOM, overseeing the IOM's budget and investments, and guiding policy related to programs, relationships, and membership. |
